Narrative Geometry is in private beta. Features, pricing, and token consumption rates change more often than they will at general release. Where these terms and the refund policy appear to differ on refunds, the refund policy governs.
1. Acceptance of these terms
Narrative Geometry (the "Service") is owned and operated by Alalonde Corporation, of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms, and you confirm you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you are.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" means the organisation.
2. What the Service is
Narrative Geometry is a platform for producing long-form narrative work. It maintains an ontology — a structured record of characters, world state, and voice — and uses that record to keep generated work consistent across lengths where a conventional model would drift.
The Service includes, in varying stages of release:
- Personalized Augmented Collaborators (PACs). Authors, characters, and personas you create, customise, and work alongside. Our term for what the wider industry calls agents.
- Manuscript generation. Structural planning, drafting, continuity checking, and revision across full-length works.
- Multi-modal output. Cover and character imagery, narration, scored audio, and typeset export.
- Model routing. A proprietary stack that routes work across third-party language, image, and audio models, including those operated by OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Mistral, DeepSeek, and xAI, and models we host ourselves.
We may add, change, or withdraw features. During private beta you should expect this to happen with limited notice.
3. Accounts
- Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
- Access. During private beta, accounts are issued by invitation. We may decline or revoke an invitation at our discretion.
- Accuracy. Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- Security. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
- One account. Do not create multiple accounts to evade limits, pricing, or a suspension.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- produce or distribute content that is illegal where you are, or that sexualises minors, incites violence, or harasses a specific person;
- impersonate a real person in a way intended to deceive, or generate a PAC modelled on a real individual without their consent;
- infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights, including by reproducing substantial portions of a protected work;
- circumvent the content policies of any model provider the Service routes to, or attempt to extract system instructions or model weights;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or place automated load on the Service beyond normal use, or resell access to it;
- introduce malware, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, or interfere with other users' work.
You are responsible for what you publish. Generated output can be wrong, biased, or unintentionally similar to existing work. Check it before it goes anywhere with your name on it.
5. Tokens
5.1 What a token is
Tokens are the unit of account for work performed by the Service. Buying tokens purchases a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service's features and computational resources.
Tokens are not currency, property, securities, a stored value instrument, or a cryptocurrency. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and confer no ownership interest of any kind.
Narrative Geometry tokens are a platform unit and are distinct from the internal token counts used by any underlying model provider. The relationship between the two is not fixed and is not represented as such.
5.2 Purchase
Purchases are processed by Stripe and PayPal. Their terms apply to the payment itself. We do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and exclude any tax that may apply where you are.
5.3 Consumption
Each action carries a token cost, published on the pricing page and shown in the application. We set those rates and may change them — underlying model pricing moves constantly, and the Service routes across several providers. Tokens already in your balance keep their face value when rates change.
Tokens are consumed when work is performed, whether or not you are satisfied with the result. A generation that runs and returns output has consumed the resources it billed for.
5.4 Expiry
Tokens do not expire while your account is active. We may expire the balance of an account that has been dormant for twelve consecutive months, or that has been terminated for breach of these terms. We will attempt to give notice by email before expiring a balance for dormancy.
5.5 Prohibited token activity
Tokens may only be obtained from us or an authorised payment channel. Selling, transferring, trading, or exchanging tokens between users or to third parties is prohibited, and may result in suspension and forfeiture.
5.6 Refunds
Token purchases are final, subject to the statutory rights and technical failure remedy set out in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Ownership of what you make
6.1 Your input
You keep all rights in the material you provide — prompts, notes, uploaded text, briefs, and instructions ("Input").
6.2 Your output
You keep all rights we are able to grant in the creative content the Service generates from your Input ("Output"), and you may use, publish, and commercially exploit it worldwide and royalty-free.
The copyright status of AI-assisted work is unsettled and differs between countries. We assign you whatever rights we hold, but we cannot warrant that purely machine-generated material is protectable by copyright anywhere in particular. If that matters to your business, take your own legal advice.
6.3 The licence you give us
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process your Input and Output solely to operate the Service, diagnose faults, enforce these terms, and improve the platform.
We do not train models on your manuscripts for use in anyone else's work. Your ontology, your PACs, and your drafts are used to serve your account. Aggregate, de-identified operational data — latency, error rates, feature usage — may inform product decisions.
7. PACs and the identity architecture
A PAC has two separable parts, and they are owned differently.

In other words: the character is yours, the machinery that makes the character cohere is ours. You may export and use your characters and their output. You may not extract, replicate, or reverse engineer the underlying identity architecture, the attribute schema, or the mutation logic for use outside the Service.
Alalonde Corporation has filed a provisional patent application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (application no. 63/938,256, filed 11 December 2025) covering a Computational Identity Architecture for Persistent, Adaptive, and Context-Aware Artificial Entities. A provisional application establishes a priority date; it is not a granted patent and confers no enforceable rights unless and until a non-provisional application is filed and granted.
8. Third-party models and services
The Service routes work to third-party providers. When it does, your Input is transmitted to that provider and handled under their terms and privacy policies as well as ours. We select and configure providers, but we do not control their models, their availability, or their output.
Provider policies may cause a request to be refused. That refusal is not a fault in the Service, and tokens consumed reaching it are not refundable except where section 2 of the refund policy applies.

9. Availability and beta status
The Service is provided during private beta without an uptime commitment. We may take it offline for maintenance, impose rate limits, or restrict features without notice.
Keep your own copies of work that matters to you. We take backups, but we do not offer a data recovery guarantee during beta, and you should not treat the Service as your only copy.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not warrant that Output will be accurate, original, non-infringing, or fit for publication. You are solely responsible for reviewing it.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under Canadian consumer protection legislation.
11. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that presents a security or legal risk, or where required by law.
On termination for breach, unused tokens are forfeited. On termination for any other reason, we will make reasonable efforts to let you export your work first. Sections 6, 7, 10, and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of Ottawa, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The effective date and version at the top of this page will change when we do. For material changes we will give reasonable notice by email or in the application. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
